LP Suk, Wat Makhamthao


Luang Phor Suk (one of the top 10 Thailand monk) was born on the 18th October BE2390 at Moo Bahn Pahk, Klorng Makhamthao. At the age of 10 his mother sent him away to study in Bangkok and was ordained as a monk at Wat Pothornglahng. His preceptor was Phra Uphachayachui Jannatasiri and was given the name Gesaroh. He continued to study Wichah under many great gurus including Phra Acharn Thum WuaDaeng who was also the teacher of LP Ngern Wat Bangklan Pichit.

Luang Phor Suk returned home after many years of study and then he became the abbot of Wat Makhamthao. He had many followers, one of the most noted lay disciple was GromLuang ChumPron KhetUDomSak who was the son of the 4th King. Luang Phor Suk taught him everything he has to know about Dhamma and Wichah.

Luang Phor Suk attained a very high level of Wichah that enable him to change the size of any object. He was a very well respected monk and highly revered old time guru who passed away on the 21st January BE2466 at the age of 76.
